The Ecological Debt is actually much more important that the financial one to offer a future for younger generations, and the first step to achieve this shift in mindset is to give ecological debt a legal consideration.
11: As the Indignados, Nuit Debout, Podemos or alas the surge of the far right have shown, the desire for more popular sovereignty is defining question that we have to answer if we are to be an alternative to the business as usual. So far this desire as been answered on the local level (Open budgets, open city councils) it is being answered on the national level (through the claim for a 6th Republic in France for example), but it will never be quite complete if we do not take it to the next level which is Europe. People are being told that Europe is more powerful than their states, the nationalists answer for this is to destroy Europe, whilst our answer should be to take power over it.
