For some Member Organisations, the fact that only English is used in FYEG activities is an obstacle to the participation of more members. This is, among others, due to the failure of the education system in some countries. Language is also a very strong factor of social exclusion.
As we want to fight against this exclusion and allow more members to take part to FYEG activites, we think it is needed to try to find solutions.
Our amendment proposes that FYEG thinks of some ways to improve language inclusion.
For example, many organisations call for voluntary interpreters to help with interpretation during their events. Most of them are students or recents graduates in interpretation who want to practice in international conferences. The reimbursement of their travel costs and accomodation are eligible costs in Erasmus Plus Projects... This could be something we could try to implement in some of our events.
