By removing the requirement that such action must occur specifically upon request of the Awareness Group, FYEG reduces the risk of unnecessary procedural obstacles that could delay responses in serious cases. This change does not diminish the role of the Awareness Group, but rather ensures that protective measures can be implemented more effectively when needed, while maintaining confidentiality and survivor protection. Eliminating this restrictive wording strengthens the responsiveness, clarity, and practical functionality.
