EC3: Emil Schenkyr: Candidate for Treasurer

Hi everyone, I am Emil (he/him)! Born and raised in small-town, rural Bavaria in the south of Germany, I always felt the urge to go about and explore the world. After a yearlong student exchange to Malaysia at age 15, the seal was broken and I have since lived, worked, and studied in France, Belgium, and Kazakhstan. Coming from a household with four younger siblings, I learned to take on responsibility for me and others at a young age. This is reflected in my broad work experience (including everything from kitchen aid to parliamentary assistant), which I used to finance my studies. After being active in European policy and international diplomacy, I was longing for more and became politically active in Grüne Jugend. This is where I found my political home, FYEG, which combines everything I ever looked for – radical Green ideas, intercultural communication, and European politics. I cannot wait to put my skills to good use and embark on this journey of growth of FYEG together!
